KAWS - Companions (Robert Lazzarini Version) Limited/RARE. Boxes were only opened to take photos of items inside for listing. In January of 2011, KAWS announced the unveiling of three new versions of the noted Companion figure as a collaborative effort with artist Robert Lazzarini. The three Companion figures are consistent with KAWS styling and manufacturing except for one marked difference they each take on a unique form of deformation. Lazzarinis influence is clear in the Companions which work to distort perspectives, and appear to be almost melted into their new stances. Special molds were used to achieve the deformed look which Lazzarini championed. Aptly titled the Distorted Companions. This was a 1000 limited edition production. Original Fake is no longer being manufactured so every piece up for grabs, is a piece of history and here we have a full set of three.
